Centra Credit Union will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct our business; only what is necessary to provide competitive financial products and services.
Centra Credit Union will protect your personal information. Our credit union will maintain strong security controls to ensure that member information in our files and computers is protected. Where appropriate, we will use security coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal records, ensure accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions, and protect member confidentiality.
You will always have access to your information. As a member of Centra Credit Union, you will always have the opportunity to review and make necessary changes to ensure that our records are complete and accurate.
Centra Credit Union will not share information with third parties (excluding credit union affiliates) concerning your account except: (a) when such a disclosure is necessary to complete transactions; (b) to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party (such as a credit bureau) as is permitted by law; (c) to comply with any court order or applicable laws or regulations; or (d) when you give us your written permission.
Centra Credit Union does not sell or provide personal information to third parties for independent use. We may, however, share personal information with our credit union affiliates, for example Centra Financial Services (our Credit Union Service Organization) as allowed by federal law, if that information is required to provide a broader array of products or services.
