Joining Centra Credit Union
As a potential member of Centra Credit Union, we would like to welcome you to Indiana's sixth largest credit union.
Centra Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that offers full financial services to its members. When you join, you not only become a member, you become an owner. Centra Credit Union isn't owned by investors, it's owned by the 100,000 plus people who have chosen to collectively invest in each other.
In addition to the employees of nearly 1,200 companies being eligible to join, Centra has acquired Community Charters in thirty counties in the state of Indiana.
If you live or work in the following Indiana counties, you are eligible to be a member of Centra Credit Union. Immediate family members of those eligible may also join Centra Credit Union.

You'll find many of our services carry no fees, and the fees we do have are much lower than conventional financial institutions. In addition, our loan and deposit rates are some of the best available.
A glimpse of our many products and services reveals:
- Share Account Savings offering quarterly dividends with funds insured to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and an additional $250,000 by Excess Share Insurance
- Checking Accounts offering MasterMoney Debit/ATM accessibility, no monthly service fee, no per check charge and no minimum balance requirements. Our Advantage Checking pays quarterly dividends with a minimum balance of $1,000
- Share Certificates (commonly referred to as CDs) offering maturities from 7 days to 60 months, competitive rates and monthly dividends. A low minimum deposit of $500 is required for investments from 12 months to 60 months. A minimum deposit is required for terms under 12 months. A penalty may be assessed for Early Withdrawal.
- Automated Teller Machines (ATM) offer account accessibility worldwide through the Co-op network. There is unlimited free use at Centra Credit Union's ATMs. By calling 1-888-SITE-COOP, you can find the nearest ATM.
We offer loans at competitive rates and terms. Centra provides personal, auto, mortgage, home equity lines of credit, student/educational, recreational vehicle and boat loans just to name a few. Additionally, Centra offers both Visa and Mastercard credit cards with credit limits to $30,000. So, if you are in the market for a low cost loan, check us out.

How Do I Join?
To begin the process of becoming a Centra Member, simply download our Membership Application and Disclosures. You can complete this application and either bring it into your nearest Centra location or send it by mail.
