Centra offers a wide range of Share Certificate options: term, minimum deposit, dividend rate and dividend payment method. Each member can select an investment option suitable for their savings goals.

A minimum balance to open is $500 for terms of 12 months or more. A penalty may be assessed for Early Withdrawal.

Benefits:

  • Certificates will normally provide higher dividend income for longer investment terms.
  • You will receive a disclosure statement documenting the terms of your investment eliminating the concern of storing an actual certificate document.

How to Invest in a Share Certificate

Share Certificates can be opened in person, at the most convenient branch, by contacting Centra's Member Call Center via telephone at 1-800-232-3642, or by sending an email to memberservices@centra.org.
