CentraPhone Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q. Why was Centraphone changed?
A. The system was being discontinued.

Q. What is the member id?
A. That is your account number.

Q. Do I have to listen to all of the greeting information?
A. No. Press 1 and Centraphone will take you to account information. Press 2 to change your PIN.

Q. Centraphone seems to pause a long time between MemberID and PIN number.
A. You can press the # key after the Member ID and the Pin number to speed up the process.

Q. I have several accounts and the options are different on each one.
A. The new system is dynamic in design. It will only give you the options available to your individual account

Q. How do I find my last ACH deposit on checking?
A. Get into your checking option and press 1 for more details, then press 3 for deposit information. This will list all deposits, then when the system comes to an ACH deposit it will specify ACH deposit as well as specify ATM deposit.

Q. Will my old PIN work with the new system?
A. Yes. If you find your PIN not working, please contact your local branch to have your PIN reset.

Q. Do I use the same phone numbers?
A. Yes. You can use 800-458-4771, 812-378-0012, 800-232-3642 option 6 or 812-376-9771 option 6.

Q. When I dial Centraphone it rings a long time before it will answer.
A. The system will ring until a line becomes available, then it will take the next call in the queue.

Q. Are there any new options with the new Centraphone?
A. Yes. You can now use Centraphone to pay your credit card. It will only give you the options available to your individual account and the option numbers will vary from account to account.

Q. Are there any instruction books or codes?.
A. No, there aren't any books because the new system is dynamic in design. Different accounts call for different number sequences

Q. It seems like the lady talks slow.
A. The lady talks at a normal rate. However, if you would like to speed up things, after you key in your account number, press # to go directly to PIN number; then key in your PIN number and press # to go to the other menu options.

Q. Do I need to key in leading zeros when keying in my account number?
A. No

Q. Can I use a zero as the first number on my PIN?.
A. Yes

Q. Can I transfer to another account?
A. Yes. Once you are in the type of share you want to work with, for instance Savings, press option 2. The last option will say "to transfer
from your share to another members account press "N (N being the option number).

Q. Can I be in using one account and find the balance of another account without hanging up?
A. No, not at this time. It may come in a future enhancement from the vendor.

Q. How do I log out of Centraphone?
A. On the old system you had to push *#. On the new Centraphone simply hang up.

Q. How can I back up to hear the options again?
A. To repeat the current menu options press *. To back up one menu press #.

Q. What if I press the wrong number?
A. If it is during the account logon you will hear "invalid member id or pin". If you pick the wrong menu item, you can press # to backup or * to repeat. If you pick an invalid option in the menu, you will hear "I'm sorry, I don't understand that selection".

Q. Will my options stay the same?
A. If you add a new product your menu options will change.

Q. When I choose to work with a share, do I have to listen to the balance information?
A. No, you may interrupt at any time to choose the next sub-menu.
